Top 3 lessons from 2024

Reflecting on 2024, I wanted to share the top three lessons that have helped propel my development as a student and instructor. You may find them useful in your development as well.

  • Through consistent practice, training and competing, I achieved a deeper understanding of grip and vision and have learned to maximize the advantages of a red dot and confidently shoot much more aggressively.

  • After competing in about a dozen matches this year alone, I have a very fair, objective assessment of my skills. By stress testing on demand skills, I can effectively identify gaps and target my development more efficiently.

  • Embraced working in the training zone, shooting at an uncomfortable pace where mistakes happen, allowing for objective assessment and understanding, and the development of a higher level of skill.

See you on the range!
